365oranges Cup announces the Winners of their 19th Cricket Tournament in Kolkata
Kolkata, 31st January 2023: The grand finale and prize distribution ceremony of the 19th edition of 365oranges Cup, a 6-side and the biggest corporate cricket tournament was organised on 29th January 2023. The cricket tournament was organized by 365oranges.com and the final day witnessed eminent guests like Mr. Rakesh Pandya, Chief Finance Officer, MCPI Pvt. Ltd., Dr Rishad Ahmed, renowned Diabetic Specialist and Mr. Joy Chatterjee, CEO & Founder of 365oranges.
The 19th edition of 365oranges Cup was a four days cricket tournament. The Cup was first played in the year 2005 and more than 92 corporates have participated since inception. This year ten top-tier corporations, including Century Ply, Digital Aptech, Exide, Fitek, HPL & MCPI, IBM, TCG Digital, TCG Lifesciences Terrific Hitters, TCG Lifesciences Trophy Fighters and Webskitters participated in the tournament and was divided in the into two groups. The tournament was 6 overs per innings and played in white deuce ball. Each team played 4 league matches. For the last three consecutive years TCG won the 365oranges Cup Championship. This year in the 19th edition of 365oranges cup championship ‘Webskitters’ won the cup with powerhouse performance. And IBM became the plate champion of the 19th edition of 365orangescup.
Subrata of TCG Lifesciences won the Player of the Tournament Award, while T Rahman of Webskitters won the Best Batsman award and Subroto of TCG Lifesciences won the Best Bowler award. The Best fielder award went to Tanmoy of TCG Lifesciences.
Commenting on the cricket tournament Mr. Joy Chatterjee, CEO & Founder of 365oranges, said, “For the last 19 years, we have been organising this cricket tournament for corporates as recreation is also necessary along with work. It has been a successful and joyful journey for us. The participation of members from different corporate levels, be it executive or top management, it is very encouraging for all of us. This year Webskitters won and broke the three-year record of TCG Lifesciences. This year’s success made me start planning for next year’s championship already.”
