Satyadevi, one of 40 selected women, previously focused on grain farming and often had to purchase vegetables from the market. With guidance from the project agronomist, she started cultivating cauliflower, spinach, coriander, and kharif onion in her backyard using homemade bio-fertilizers. Her family now enjoys fresh, homegrown produce for several months a year, significantly cutting costs and improving nutrition.

By empowering women with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to grow their own food, the Foundation is enhancing food security, promoting health, and fostering economic independence in rural Himachal.
