Agrizy strengthens its leadership, onboards Deepak Choudhary and Markish Arun

06, Jan 2023: With a vision to solidify its industrial presence and drive growth, Agrizy has brought new leadership on board. The company welcomes Deepak Choudhary and Markish Arun, who join Agrizy as its Business Head and Head of Engineering & Products respectively.

A seasoned leader with expertise in Agrifood value chains and P&L, Deepak will be crucial to Agrizy’s growth story through his thought leadership. He will lead the company’s business development strategy to drive sustainable financial growth.

Deepak joins Agrizy from Export Trading Group, where he served as the Country Head – Ethiopia. He holds an extensive experience of more than 17 years in Agrifood trading, supply chain business, and agro processing, and was previously associated with prestigious names in the FMCG sector like ITC Limited and Olam & Olam.

Agrizy’s new Head of Engineering & Products, Markish comes with nearly 18 years of experience in the tech domain, across sectors like enterprises, SMEs, mobile-tech, etc. He has previously been associated with prominent organisations like SAP, Wipro, Magicrooms, Makemytrip, Trip38, etc.

Markish joins Agrizy from Zoomcar, where he served as the CTO. As the leader for Agrizy’s engineering and products, Markish’s mission is to develop the best technology for the company in order to revolutionise the Agrifood processing industry.
