Designers and artists’ friends gather to attend the art show at pallet art gallery The group exhibition showcases how today’s artists are reflecting this age-old alliance. Architectonics features artworks by artists Joydip Acharjee, Sharad Sonkusale, Anil Thambai, and Narayan Biswas. Each artist presents a subtly different dynamic between the individual, art, and architecture as they invite you to imaginatively look at, walk around, and walk through their constructions. The combination of materials, weight, light, and form are all potentials that can be greater than the sum of their parts, leading to the creation of tension and mystery. Sharad Sonkusale and Anil Thambai participating artists were present at the show. Anil has seen construction work since childhood and says he has seen the emotions and hard work of workers in the making of the building. He mostly likes to paint the interior of buildings. Sharad Sonkusale, who has related his works with classical ragas like Dhrupad, as depicted in the paintings Rohit Gandhi says the collection speaks to dynamics in our built environment that we already understand and consider on a daily basis. The party was hosted tastefully with Hot and Cold Bite Size Party Snacks
