Mumbai/ Milan, June 05th, 2025: Today Ettore Francesco Sequi – Chairman of Carraro India, Tomaso Carraro – Vice Chairman of Carraro Group and Vice Chairman of Carraro India, met in Milan with Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Member of Parliament for North Mumbai Lok Sabha, and Vani Sarraju Rao, Indian Ambassador to Italy.
This meeting served as an opportunity to reaffirm Carraro Group’s longstanding commitment to India, which began in 1997. Under the motto “Think & Make In India,” Carraro India is dedicated to developing solutions and technologies for the off-highway sector, including agriculture and construction equipment, within the country.
Our technology and products, such as our 4WD systems, play a crucial role in enhancing farm efficiency and productivity. By providing farmers with reliable and efficient drivetrain solutions, we help them overcome challenges and improve their yields. This, in turn, contributes to addressing critical food security issues, ensuring that the world’s growing population has access to nutritious food.
Our ambitious goal is to achieve a turnover of 350 million euros by the fiscal year 2028/2029, up from the current 200 million euros. To support this growth, we will be expanding our Pune facility in the coming years, ensuring that we have the necessary infrastructure and capabilities to meet the increasing demands of our customers and drive our business forward.
