Mumbai, July 07: DTDC Express Ltd., one of India’s leading homegrown multinational logistics companies, recently announced the launch of the DTDC Bharat One Hub at Rathiwas, Haryana, marking another milestone in the company’s continued investment in strengthening its logistics infrastructure. Strategically located to serve Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR, Haryana, and adjoining markets, the facility is designed to enhance freight movement, improve mid-mile connectivity, and create scalable processing capacity to support the evolving needs of businesses across North India.
The DTDC Bharat One Hub derives its name from the company’s vision of building a unified logistics backbone for a growing and increasingly connected India. Symbolising scale, connectivity, and long-term infrastructure investment, the facility reflects DTDC’s commitment to enabling businesses of every size through faster, more reliable, and technology-enabled logistics capabilities.
Spread across 1.5 lakh sq. ft., the facility is built to handle a peak processing capacity of 2,500 tonnes per day and is operated by a dedicated workforce of over 150 trained professionals. Equipped with advanced sorter systems, a multi-conveyor belt setup, hydraulic dock infrastructure, and enhanced dock utilisation capabilities, the hub is designed to accelerate freight consolidation, improve turnaround times, and support higher shipment volumes as the network continues to grow.
Serving as a key transit hub within DTDC’s network, the facility will improve shipment flow across Delhi NCR and major North-bound corridors by reducing transit bottlenecks, optimising route efficiency, and enabling more consistent downstream movement. The additional capacity also enhances network resilience, allowing DTDC to respond more effectively to growing customer demand and seasonal shipment peaks.
Commenting on the launch, Abhishek Chakraborty, CEO, DTDC, said: “India’s next phase of commerce growth will increasingly depend on the strength of its logistics infrastructure. As businesses expand beyond metropolitan markets into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, resilient and scalable logistics networks become a key competitive advantage. The DTDC Bharat One Hub represents another important milestone in our long-term infrastructure journey, strengthening our network, enhancing operational agility, and enabling businesses to reach customers with greater speed, reliability, and confidence. More than a facility, it is an investment in building the logistics backbone that will support India’s growth story for years to come.”
The Bharat One Hub is part of DTDC’s broader Vision 2030 strategy to strengthen its nationwide logistics network through continued investments in infrastructure, automation, and operational excellence.
DTDC’s network today includes over 16,500 customer access points, a nationwide network of more than 500 operating facilities, and 96% population coverage. The addition of Bharat One Hub further strengthens this foundation by expanding network capacity and resilience, enabling faster, more efficient logistics, and supporting the seamless movement of commerce across India.
