Inorbit Malls among India’s Top 50 Best Mid-Size Places to Work At

Mumbai, July 5th, 2021: Inorbit Malls Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s pioneers in mall culture, is among the top 50 best mid-sized companies to work for in the country this year, according to the annual survey conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The firm was awarded the 41st rank out of over 10,000 participating organizations from 60 countries that were judged on the basis of anonymous employee feedback and the quality of people practices deployed at each organization. Inorbit Malls, one of only three retail companies to make it to the top 50 this year, has moved up two places from the 43rd position it was awarded last year in the same category.

As part of the annual research conducted by the institute in India, organizations with an employee strength of 100 to 500 were assessed based on two factors— the quality of employee experience through its globally validated survey instrument known as Trust Index© and the quality of people practices of an organization, covering the entire employee life-cycle evaluated under Culture Audit©.

‘Aawaaz’ has been introduced for smother communication within the Company. Under the #InorbitCares initiative, the firm promotes learning and skill development for employees through workshops and counseling sessions among many other facilities. In association with 1to1help, a leading Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Provider Inorbit has introduced the initiative #ReachOut towards Employee Mental Health Wellbeing via qualified and experienced counseling psychologists. #InorbitianSpeaks has been established to have the women employees express their sentiments by sharing the stories of their professional journeys and how they overcame challenges. Post the Covid19 outbreak, Inorbit launched ‘EKJUT’, an initiative to reach out to its employees to provide emotional comfort specifically for those who were away from their family in the form of virtual coffee or lunch, games, and fun activities. Prioritizing health and safety during the pandemic, Inorbit got its entire staff and retail partners vaccinated across its properties in Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Vadodara.

‘The Pride Side’ has been introduced by observing Inorbit Malls’ ‘Zero Discrimination’ policy, to provide a framework to encourage employees and be supportive of their choices. The firm provides financial assistance of upto Rs 2 lakhs, to the employees undergoing medical process for gender reassignment surgery. The firm has ‘Adoption Assistance Benefit’ extended to LGBTQ employees, on a case-to-case basis as determined by the Adoption Assistance Committee.
