Beyond beauty training, the women are also trained for self-defense classes. These classes are designed to ensure the safety of the women in both their personal and professional lives. The program reflects DSF’s commitment to fostering both professional and personal growth for these women, giving them the tools to achieve independence and success in the beauty sector.
Meenakshi Jain, Program Director of the Darshana Singal Foundation, stated, “Empowering women with self-defense skills is essential to protect them from potential threats. Our programs, including KALA SE KAAM TAK, not only teach practical techniques but also build confidence and resilience. Every woman deserves to feel safe and thrive without fear.”
She added, “By integrating vocational training, we provide women with the tools to face challenges confidently, supporting their journey toward economic independence and self-sufficiency. We are proud to announce the graduation of these women.”
