New Delhi, May 26th, 2025: realme, the most popular smartphone brand among Indian youth, has yet again demonstrated its leadership in innovation and battery technology. On May 23, 2025, realme’s upcoming flagship – the realme GT 7, the 2025 flagship killer – set a new Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon Watching Films/Movies on a Mobile Phone, with an incredible 24 hours of continuous movie playback.
The record-setting moment took place during realme’s special “Endless Power Journey” European cruise event. The journey began in Rome, Italy, while the main livestream venue for the event was hosted from Shenzhen, China. The Guinness challenge commenced at 9:30PM IST on May 22, and after a full 24 hours of uninterrupted movie streaming, the feat was officially certified on May 23 at 9:30 PM IST by a representative from Guinness World Records.
The record-breaking performance was made possible by realme GT 7’s powerful 7000mAh Titan Battery combined with 120W Ultra Charge technology—an industry-leading battery combo that has also received the TÜV Rheinland 5-Star Battery Certification. This achievement further reinforces realme’s position as a Battery Tech Pioneer, offering cutting-edge innovations that meet the real demands of Indian users—from gamers and streamers to creators and professionals.
