PHDCCI: India’s October 2024 Export Growth Hits 19%, Showcasing Economic Resilience

India’s exports accelerated to over USD 73 billion in October 2024 from more than 61 billion in October 2023, registering above 19% growth. This strong growth is driven by a more than 20% increase in exports of non-petroleum & non-Gems & jewellery exports, said Shri Hemant Jain, President, PHDCCI, in a press statement issued here today.

Further, the cumulative total exports during April-October 2024 grew at above 7%, from USD 436.4 billion in April-October 2023 to USD 468.2 billion, said Mr Jain.

Given the resilient and strong momentum of exports in the current financial year, we are highly optimistic that India’s total exports will surpass USD 800 billion in the coming months, said Shri Hemant Jain.
