Shell tops global lubricants market for 19ᵗʰ consecutive year
India, 05th November, 2025: Shell Lubricants has once again emerged as the world’s leading supplier of finished lubricants for the 19ᵗʰ consecutive year, according to Kline & Company’s Global Lubricants: Market Analysis and Assessment 2025 report.
Kline ranked Shell as the #1 global lubricants supplier based on finished lubricant sales volumes across automotive and industrial segments. With a global market share of 11.6%, Shell’s 2024 sales were distributed across consumer automotive (37%), industrial (32%), and commercial automotive (31%) segments maintaining leadership in all three.
The report highlights Shell’s continued innovation in premium, high-efficiency lubricants and its strong performance across emerging areas like electric vehicles (EVs) and immersion cooling fluids (ICFs).
