Tea Culture of the World (TCW) was established in the year 2010 by Dr Rupali Ambegaonkar, a tea connoisseur and CEO of the company. Since the inception the focus of the brand has been to provide tea lovers a world-class experience that stays with them in the form of brand distinguished flavors of tea. The company offers its signature blends of over 80 exquisite herbal and flavoured teas.
Handcrafted whole leaf teas are hand plucked from Japan, China, Vietnam, South Africa, Argentina, and of course, India. TCW gathers fruits and herbs from Europe, and flowers from Egypt. They source exceptional botanical ingredients from all over the world and authentic teas from the origin. To retain the nutritional value, flavor, and texture, and to create the best quality blends all through the year, the ingredients are freeze-dried. Freeze drying also helps to keep the natural oils intact in the herbs, which is what gives them their flavor.

They use Soilon for tea bags because it is 100% biodegradable. Made from a lactic acid extracted from corn starch, it is fully decomposable and suitable for composting. Which means zero contribution to plastic pollution in the form of microplastics (found in regular pyramid tea bags). Additionally, the tea bags are glue, resin, and staple free. The collection of retail products includes various variants of loose leaf like Green, Black, Oolong, Tisane etc., infusion tea bags and gift collection.
