Mr. Yaakov Hagoel, WZO Chair and acting Chair of Jewish Agency, visits Ariel University

Yaakov Hagoel, chairman of the World Zionist Organization, began his tenure as Acting Chairman of the Jewish Agency today. His first act in his new position was to visit Ariel University, in an effort to strengthen ties and create new ones with academia in Israel and the Diaspora.

During the tour, the chairman visited The Samson Family Wine Research Center, where a new wine was introduced for the first time. The wine was produced from a unique grape variety found in a region of Israel where vineyards have existed since the time of King David.

Apart from being delicious, it may very well have the same taste of wine consumed 3,000 years ago. The wine is being considered for distribution to the Jewish communities around the world.
