Pune’s VSPEAK Institute Brings TED Ed Student Talks to Life: A Celebration of Youth
VSPEAK Institute organized the TED Ed Student Talks Season-2 at Symbiosis, Viman Nagar on 20th October, providing a unique platform for young speakers aged 8 to 16 to share their ideas, research, and real-life stories. The event aimed to develop public speaking skills and boost the confidence needed to express creative thoughts. All the students received six months of mentorship from the organizer, Virendra Nirmalkar, culminating in the opportunity to present their speeches in front of an audience of 300.
The event saw an inspiring lineup of 20 dynamic speakers, including Kartiki Agarwal, Ishita Shukla, Ayansh Vijay Nikole, Akriti Nirmalkar, Anushreya Rajput, Neil Deepesh, Ojasvi Deora, Nafeesa Liya Shaikh, Aarin Junagade, Varshivani Saminath, Ritisha Rahul Mahamuni, Aditi Kiran Nawale, Anushree Rajput, Yashika Kumawat, Ved Thakare, Sarthak Sangare, Rushda Imtiyaz Khan, Aniket Jadhav, Anjani Kumar, and Yug Kumawat. Each young speaker captivated the audience with their unique perspectives and stories, making a truly memorable event. The students talked about various topics such as Sustainability, Phobias, Technology, Space, Bharat Natyam, and etc.
Distinguished guests included Chief Guest Cdr Aplesh Mohan, who was joined by Lt Col Manoj Kumar Sinha and LtCdr Payal Gupta, providing inspiration to all attendees. Mrs. Surabhi Aplesh participated as the Gifting Partner, Mr. Tanmay Photography joined as the Photography Partner, and Dr. Prachetan Potadar supported as the Featuring Partner (stay featured ). The event’s music was skillfully managed by Mr. Dinesh Patole, adding a vibrant touch. The program was hosted by Sarita Pawar and Abrar Patel.
With a focus on the importance of public speaking and storytelling, the event highlighted how effective communication can empower the next generation to express themselves with clarity and conviction. It was a day filled with inspiration, learning, and the power of youth voices, marking a significant success in Pune’s educational calendar
