Witzeal Technologies partners with Literacy India to empower underprivileged children at the grassroot level

India, May 18th, 2022: Driven by the purpose to promote literacy and ensure good quality education, Witzeal, a new age gaming technological company, announced its partnership with Literacy India to support the education of underprivileged children. With an aim to provide quality education to the students and help in their development and growth, the company has donated INR 7 lakhs+ towards educational fees for more than 50 children. Last month the company also announced a grant of Rs. 10 lakhs to support the education of more than 30 children in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

India is considered to be a knowledge-based economy and has been making determined efforts to boost its educational landscape. The need for an accessible learning ecosystem Education is an important pillar of the country’s development. Thus, investment in learning, and skilling the youth is imperative.

A highly skilled youth will indeed accelerate India’s economic growth and ensure productive outcomes. Talking about the association, Mr. Ankur Singh, CEO and Founder, Witzeal Technologies, said, “Education plays a pivotal role in building a strong nation and eliminating socio-economic issues at large. Aligning ourselves with the government of India’s objective to support education, we endeavour to bridge the social and fiscal divide and support students from low-income families to continue their education. To further empower the children, Mr. Peush Berry, Head of Product & Mr. Naveen Goswami Head of Innovation at Witzeal, also conducted an on-ground interactive knowledge session and shared insights on ‘How technology is shaping the world’.

Sharing various anecdotes and learnings from the sector during the session, Mr. Peush Berry, Head of Product & Mr. Naveen Goswami Head of Innovation at Witzeal said, “The technological sector in India has bolstered up ounces and has come a long way lightening speed innovations and inventions. The industry is constantly shaping up a universal necessity for people of all ages and socioeconomic groups in the world. A testament to this growth trajectory we wanted to create awareness and promote the several benefits of technology, how it is disrupting the world, and the various avenues students today can opt for to make a career in it. We believe that these students will disrupt the sector at large if provided the right exposure right now.”

Ever since the pandemic, the importance of quality education has been recognised largely as a key driver for the overall development of students as well as the nation. However, due to these unprecedented times and the poor economic circumstances, many children in India were deprived of quality education. 

With a motto to mainstream the marginalised by making them self-sufficient, Literacy India empowers underprivileged children, youth, and women with access to education, life skills & livelihoods. The non-profit organization reaches out to the underprivileged across India and provides them with access to valuable education and skills training to enable them to earn a decent living.

Earlier this year, the company announced a commitment of INR 25 lakhs with a mission to support children across various verticals including facilitating education, providing appropriate healthcare, empowering students through grants and scholarship programs for the current fiscal year.
