Yaadon Ki Bahaar is a highly anticipated event for helping the old widows of The Shepherd Widows’ Home. It is organized by Dr. Batra’s ® Foundation which has been taking care of the health of aging ladies and providing them with free medical care for the last 30 years.
Commenting on the initiative, Dr. Mukesh Batra, Padma Shri recipient and Founder of Dr. Batra’s Group of Companies said, “The foundation was formed 22 years ago to help the disadvantaged. I believe that no one should be denied medical treatment for want of money. That is why we run free clinics across the country to help people in need. I also believe that old people are isolated and they should be integrated at home. Adopting a grandparent is a great idea whose time has come. I do my bit for providing for a few old-age homes across the country.”
Speaking on the 11th edition of Yaadon Ki Bahaar, Chief Guest Mr. Roop Kumar Rathod said, “I have known Dr. Batra for the past 40 years and I am amazed at his zest for life and for reaching out to the disadvantaged. He has a great voice and I’m glad he has used it for the betterment of society. I am also glad that music and generosity have been passed on to his 3rd generation through his grandson Hriman who performed so well today. “
Also on this occasion, the Homeopathy Anthem was launched to popularize the spread of Homeopathy in India. The Anthem about the goodness of homeopathy is conceptualized by Padmashri Dr. Mukesh Batra.
