Skin Care Essential

We have a love-hate relationship with the arrival and end of winter. Winter Wardrobe is something we all look forward to but we often lack when it comes to taking care of our skin during this season.

We need to figure out ways to protect us and our skin in the Cold.

So, let’s get into it and form some good habits for good winter skin.

Stay Hydrated: As we know that air is drier in winter and needs some extra care. Hence, we need to drink lot of fluids and water. Apart from that we can use a hydrating face mask on an alternate day. And if you have a really dry skin then you can install a humidifier to maintain the level of moisturizer inside your home at least.

Say yes to lukewarm water: We all love hot showers, don’t we? But do you know that it makes our skin dry and flaky? Use lukewarm water to shower and wash your face. It will help you to avoid winter eczema. And do not forget to apply moisturizer after every shower. Say yes to good skin.

Use an oil-based moisturizer: Use moisturizers that has hyaluronic acid and ceramides because it will prevent dryness and will keep your skin hydrated. Try to find an oil based moisturizer that suites your skin well. We all have different skin type and that’s why we need to understand our skin better so that we can choose skincare products accordingly.

Use sunscreen daily: Sunscreen is essential no matter what time of year it is—but especially in winter when the sun isn’t out as much! Make sure to apply sunscreen every morning after washing your face before leaving home so that you’re covered from head to toe all throughout the day.

Choose the best moisturizing face wash for your skin during the winter instead of just any face wash. Although the chilly water can put you off, cleaning your face is an essential step in your beauty routine. Set a reminder for it and schedule it to occur twice daily.

Nourishing Night Cream
Contrary to popular belief, a night cream is not just for elderly men. Your brain releases hormones that help your body and skin heal when you are relaxed. With the aid of a healing combination, it is the ideal time for your skin to replenish the moisture lost each day by the chilly breeze and room heaters.

Massage your face: Massaging your face not only relaxes your muscles but also helps in blood circulation especially in this chilling weather. And it’s even better if you exfoliate your skin before massaging it. You can either use argon oil or a moisturizer for the same. You can also use aloe-vera if you have extremely oily skin.

These steps will help you keep your skin healthy, glowing and smooth even in extreme winter season.
Now, there’s something more to look forward to in the winter season apart from the wardrobe. Know your skin and say yes to healthy habits.
