251 Kundiya Gayatri Maha Yagya Commences Amidst the Splendor of Kalash Yatra
New Delhi, November 22, 2024: Under the guidance of Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Parivar Shantikunj Haridwar, the 251 Kundiya Gayatri Maha Yagya began today at Ramlila Ground, Dwarka Sector-8, Delhi. The event commenced with a grand Kalash Yatra, where hundreds of people participated, carrying kalashes on their foreheads and spreading awareness through vibrant tableaux.
The five-day event, running from November 20 to 24, aims to promote women’s empowerment and the upliftment of humanity. The Kalash Yatra, which started from two locations – Dwarka Sector 9 Metro Station and Palam – converged at Ramlila Ground, Sector 8.
Raising Awareness Against Foeticide
Tableaux displayed during the yatra highlighted social issues, including the importance of stopping foeticide. A striking tableau depicting Jhansi ki Rani embodied women’s empowerment, captivating the attention of all. South Delhi MP Shri Ramveer Singh Bidhuri and people from various parts of the state and country participated in this grand event.
Conducted by renowned scholars from Haridwar, this yagya is a significant Sanatan cultural tradition, essential for global welfare and peace. The Vedic ritual aims to make the nation capable, competent, and prosperous, while empowering women.
Free Rites and Yagya for All
In conjunction with the yagya, various rites are being performed free of cost, allowing people from all classes and communities to participate. A large number of individuals from NCR and nearby states are attending this event.
The event is being organized under the guidance of revered Dr. Pranav Pandya Ji and revered Shail Didi, heads of Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Parivar. Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji, a young icon and sharp speaker, will deliver a special address during the Maha Yagya.
