Detection Technology Announces the Passing of Chair Hannu Syrjala

March 3, 2025: Hannu Syrjälä, Chairman of the Board of Detection Technology Plc, has passed away due to an illness. He served as the Chairman of Detection Technology’s Board since 2018 and as a board member since 2017.

“On behalf of Detection Technology’s Board and management, I would like to express our deepest condolences to his family. Hannu Syrjälä was a respected leader, a good listener, and always considerate of others,” says Henrik Roos, Vice Chairman of Detection Technology’s Board.

Detection Technology’s Board continues with five members, and Vice Chairman Henrik Roos serves as Chairman until the Annual General Meeting. The Annual General Meeting is scheduled to be held on 27 March 2025 at 14:00 (EET).
