HOPE Foundation Organizes Successful Mega Campus Drive in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Karnataka – September 16, 2024 – HOPE Foundation, a leading non-profit dedicated to empowering communities through education and employment, partnered with IQAC Department Government First Grade College to host a mega campus drive. The event, held at the GFGC college Premises, VB Layout, Krishnarajapuram, saw participation from over 50 companies and over 500 unemployed candidates aged 18-30, aiming to bridge the gap between job seekers and potential employers.

The drive was graced by a prestigious panel including Prof. Prathibha Parshwanath (Principal), Mr. Augustine Thomas and Maria Joseph (Directors of HOPE Foundation), Dr. Renuka Janbow (Coordinator, IQAC), Dr. Saraswathi (Coordinator, PG, Placement Cell), and Parthasarathi N (Coordinator, UG, Placement Cell). It also celebrated academic excellence with Ms. Ramya M.R., the First Rank holder in MA Political Science from Government First Grade College, Bangalore North University, KR Puram Bengaluru, receiving recognition for her outstanding achievement.

“The primary objective is to encourage students to complete their academic pursuits by offering tangible career prospects upon graduation,” said Prof. Prathibha Parshwanath. This initiative aims to inspire and motivate students by connecting them with potential employers.

“We are delighted to have connected over 500 talented individuals with promising job opportunities,” said Mr. Augustine, Program Director, HOPE Foundation. Their goal is to empower 5,000 youth by the end of March 2025. HOPE Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to the participating companies, the college administration, and all the candidates who contributed to this successful event.
