Distinguished Banker Rajnish Kumar to Speak on ESG at FTCCI Seminar

Rajnish Kumar, Mastercard India Chairman, to Address ESG Seminar Hosted by FTCCIHyderabad, December 04, 2024: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) announced a half-day Seminar on “ESG: Navigating the Future of Business with Purpose and Impact”. It will be held on 13th December at FTCCI Surana Auditorium.

Rajnish Kumar, Chairman of Mastercard India will grace the Seminar on ESG at FTCCI as Chief Guest. Rajnish Kumar is also a Chairman of BharatPe, MDI, and former Chairman of SBI. Kumar is a veteran banker with nearly four decades of experience. During his tenure as Chairman of the SBI, he led the development of SBI’s digital platform, YONO.

ESG is a buzzword now. It helps organizations identify and manage risks, improve social responsibility, and enhance long-term sustainability. It’s about meeting stakeholder expectations, navigating and complying with regulations, and improving access to capital.

The current year saw significant regulatory advancements in ESG, and companies must be prepared to tackle new challenges in 2025. Mr. George Kalliath, Partner Risk Consulting, Ernst & Young LLP, will speak on Governance for a Better Tomorrow.
