Prahlad Kakar Brings Strong Expertise to AAFT as Industry Advisor for Advertising & PR
Noida 11th March 2025: AAFT is gearing up to onboard Mr. Prahlad Kakar, a prolific ad filmmaker as the Industry Advisor of the School of Advertising, PR and Events. Renowned for his strokes of absolute creative genius and game-changing campaigns, Mr. Kakar has been instrumental in giving the Indian advertising industry the shape it has today. Bringing his decade’s worth of experience to AAFT, he will be mentoring and inspiring the next generation of media professionals. Mr. Kakar has been the mind behind some of the most iconic Indian commercials. His legendary Pepsi campaigns with greats like Sachin Tendulkar and Amitabh Bachchan – including the famous, “Yehi Hai Right Choice Baby! Aha!” – bolstered his reputation as an ad film maker, ushering him to the forefront of advertising. He also has created other memorable campaigns, such as “The Zing Thing” for Gold Spot, “2 minutes!” for Maggi Noodles, “Ting Ting Ti Ting” for Britannia Biscuits, “Zor Ka Jhatka” for Limca, and “It’s Different” for Maggi Ketchup. His commercials have also been nominated at the prestigious Cannes Lions Festival. Recognizing the mark he has made on the industry, he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the IAAFA.

At AAFT, he will bring his passion for storytelling, his sharp industry insights and his endless experience to help students understand the application of their theoretical knowledge in real life.
