People have been and will continue to remain the biggest asset for businesses

From customers to influencers, the factor that carries the emotion of a business has always been associated with a human touch and influencers add more value to this. As per a report by Statista, the influencer marketing industry in India in 2022, was valued at over 12 billion Indian rupees. This is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 25% over the next five years. The industry’s market value was estimated to amount to 28 billion Indian rupees by 2026. Not just this, nearly 55 million urban Indians were direct consumers of influencers of various kinds as of 2022.

A major reason for this growth is the rising number of users on social media platforms. This has encouraged more and more people not just from urban cities but also from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities to become content creators. India especially has seen immense growth in this sector and as a result, today, we have influencers offering excellent quality content in unique niche industries.

Not just this, but with time, influencers are getting more professional and are structuring their goals and expectations from the work they do. This further helps ease the process for everyone involved. With so much growth within the influencer sector, there is no denial in the fact that influencer marketing is a thriving career for 2023 and for the years to come.
