Mumbai, September 23, 2026: Restaurant Week India (RWI) organised by the Dining Collective in partnership with Kotak Solitaire, Kotak Mahindra Bank, is now going national. Having launched in three cities in April, the festival returns for its Autumn Edition from October 16 to November 1, 2026, featuring over 100 leading restaurants nationwide.
The Summer Edition proved the concept: more than 6,000 diners, over ₹1 crore in revenue for participating restaurants, and nearly 1,700 people still on the waitlist when bookings closed. The Autumn Edition responds to that demand with more cities, more restaurants, a longer run of seventeen days across three weekends, and two new formats.
Prix-fixe menus. Participating restaurants will serve curated three-course menus that showcase their signature dishes and culinary style.
Dessert pop-ups. Limited-run pop-ups in select cities will bring pastry chefs together to create a one-of-a-kind dessert tasting menu for a single sitting. Each will offer a limited number of seats, with participating chefs, venues and dates announced closer to the festival.
‘One Service Only’.During the festival, selected food-forward bars will put their kitchens in the spotlight with a three-course menu created exclusively for the occasion. Each evening will offer two sittings with limited seats. A special drinks menu only for RWI customerswill be available to purchase separately at the venue.
All reservations are prepaid and to be made on the District app.

What The Summer Edition Revealed
The Summer Edition marked Restaurant Week India‘s return after a ten-year gap. Over ten days in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru, it brought more than 6,000 diners to participating restaurants through 2,100-plus bookings, generating over ₹1 crore in revenue for restaurants. Demand outstripped supply, with nearly 1,700 waitlist requests that could not be accommodated.
Some users made multiple bookings during the festival. 81 users booked three or more times within the ten days, an early sign that RWI is building a repeat audience.
“Restaurant Week India‘s second edition reflects how much is happening in Indian restaurants right now. This edition covers the country, with restaurants from Ahmedabad to Kolkata and NCR to Bengaluru. As with the last edition, the goal is to get diners to rediscover their city and find new favourites,” said Aatish Nath, co-founder of RWI.
The full restaurant line-up, including the dessert pop-up and the ‘One Service Only’ calendar, will be revealed ahead of bookings opening. Details on reservations will be available through the District app. All bookings on the District app and platform.
