Drawing inspiration from the royal kitchens of the Sheherwali Jains of Murshidabad, Royal Vega offers a thoughtfully curated set menu that is rooted in the principles of Ayurveda—the ancient science of life and holistic well-being promoting balance and harmony with nature.

Whether you are indulging in aromatic delicacies or uniquely prepared vegetables, dining here is not just about eating—it is about connecting to the rich tapestry of India’s cultural heritage. The royal vegetarian kitchens of the Sheherwalis, the erstwhile Jain nobility from the havelis (townhouses) of Murshidabad, the menu offers an array of mindfully selected vegetarian dishes, including Bhutta Pulao (aged basmati rice cooked with corn kernels and flavoured with cinnamon), Kadali Phal Tarkari (raw banana cooked in tomato and cashew nut gravy with a hint of garam masala), Bhutta Churmura (fresh corn kernels tossed with capsicum, tomato, green chilli, coriander, and hand-pounded mustard & lemon juice), Parwal Dabdaba (pointed gourd tossed with homemade dry spices), Missa Poori (puréed bread made with Bengal gram flour), and Kheer (rice and milk pudding with cardamom, garnished with pistachio)—to name a few.
