Amrita University Announces Last Date for Phase 1 Ph.D. Admissions on 15th July 2024

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University annually awards over 7 crores in scholarships exclusively to Ph.D. scholars, fostering exceptional talent and promoting academic excellence which includes monthly guaranteed scholarships up to Rs.35,000/- per month for all Full-time scholars for the first 3 years. In addition to these scholarships, scholars receive financial support for attending prestigious conferences and publishing in peer reviewed journals. They also benefit from access to cost-free experimentation facilities across all research labs at Amrita’s campuses.

Prospective candidates can join any of the Amrita campuses located in Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Chennai, Kochi, Mysuru and Faridabad. Applicants with a minimum of 60% in their postgraduate degrees are eligible to apply. The selection process involves a Written Test and an Interview evaluation.
Students who have qualified in NET/GATE are exempted from the written test and are eligible for a direct interview.
