Hyderabad, Sept 18: A new generation of AI-powered long-term cardiac monitoring technology is set to enter the Indian market, with the official launch of Kardi Ai scheduled for September 26 in Hyderabad, disclosed Dr. Ramana Jagarlamudi, Director – International Operations & Authorized Representative – India, Kardi Ai, and Dr. Raghavendra Rao, Scientific Adviser & Co-Founder, Eurasia Medical Technologies LLP addressing a press conference in the city on Friday at FTCCI
The launch to open a new chapter in cardiac monitoring. Developed by Kardi Ai, a Czech HealthTech company, the technology combines a wearable ECG chest strap, mobile connectivity and AI-supported ECG analysis to enable long-term heart-rhythm monitoring while patients continue their normal daily lives.
The India launch is being facilitated by Hyderabad-based Eurasia Medical Technologies LLP, the Indian arm of Kardi Ai.
The technology addresses a fundamental challenge in cardiac diagnosis: an irregular heartbeat may not occur when a patient is undergoing a conventional ECG or even during a 24-hour Holter examination.
A conventional ECG provides a short snapshot of the heart, while a Holter monitor typically records cardiac activity for a defined period, often 24 hours. Kardi Ai is designed to extend the monitoring window, enabling doctors to access ECG data collected over a longer period and helping them identify intermittent cardiac rhythm abnormalities that may otherwise go undetected.
From snapshot to long-term observation, it goes a long way in studying the heart functioning more effectively
Explaining the concept simply: ECG is a snapshot of the heart, Holter is a 24-hour recording and Kardi AI is a long-term observation of heart rhythm
The patient wears a lightweight ECG chest strap during everyday activities. The recorded ECG data is transmitted through the mobile platform, while AI-supported analysis assists physicians in reviewing and identifying potential rhythm abnormalities.
The technology is intended to support physicians and does not replace clinical diagnosis or medical decision-making.
Kardi Ai is being introduced in India as a prescription-grade medical technology rather than a consumer fitness device.
According to the company, the device has secured an MD-15 licence from the Government of India for import and sale in India. It is CE marked under the European Union medical-device regulatory framework. It is EU MDR Class IIa classification product.
Manufacturing/quality processes it is aligned with ISO 13485, the international quality-management standard for medical devices
The official launch will bring together cardiologists, electrophysiologists, physicians, hospital leadership, healthcare technology professionals and other stakeholders to discuss the future of long-term rhythm monitoring, remote cardiac care and AI-supported ECG analysis.
The launch programme will feature clinical sessions on cardiac arrhythmias, detection and diagnosis, the clinical value of long-term ECG monitoring, and Kardi Ai’s application in clinical practice, followed by a panel discussion and official launch.
The launch will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 6:30 PM onwards at Daspalla Hotel, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
With cardiovascular diseases continuing to require early detection and sustained monitoring, the India launch of Kardi Ai comes at a time when healthcare is increasingly moving towards remote monitoring, digital health and AI-assisted clinical decision support.
The central proposition is simple: when an abnormal rhythm is intermittent, a longer window of observation can provide doctors with more information than a short snapshot.
