SimonMed Installs GE HealthCare’s SIGNA Premier 3T Wide-Bore MRI Scanners in Goodyear, Gilbert, Houston, and Tampa

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 8, 2024 – SimonMed Imaging (“SimonMed”), one of the largest outpatient medical imaging providers and radiology practices in the United States, announces today the first outpatient imaging center installation in Goodyear and Gilbert, Arizona, Houston, Texas and Tampa, Florida of GE HealthCare’s SIGNA Premier 3T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners. These systems will usher in an era of routine, faster MR imaging and reduce scan time by up to 50% with AIR Recon DL.

SIGNA Premier 3T MRI scanners include feet-first imaging, and AIR Coils that provide clinical versatility, patient comfort and greater coverage. Innovative technology includes SuperG 80/200 gradient coils, 146 ch TDI radio frequency chain for clarity, and 60 cm performance in a 70 cm bore for comfort and accommodation. Additionally, the deep-learning-based reconstruction techniques, such as AIR Recon DL, help to reduce scan time by up to 50% and provide sharper, clearer, and accurate images.
